Hi Friends! It’s Saturday night and I am getting prepped for an early Sunday morning. This is a favorite Sunday morning breakfast in out house: baked oatmeal!
This recipe can also be made completely ahead and eaten through the week, either cold, or by quickly warming it in the microwave.
I will include my recipe, but just know there are tons of baked oatmeal recipes out there, so a quick search will give you plenty to chose from!
This recipe is quite flexible and forgiving so I am never afraid to “substitute” for something I am missing.
Here’s my recipe for one 9×11 pan, remember in this video I double it!
Our Favorite Baked Oatmeal
1 1/4 c milk
1/3 c brown sugar
1/4 c melted butter
3 c oats
1/2 Tbs baking powder
1 tsp vanilla
2 tsp cinnamon
You can also add mix-ins (which we did not today….) Chocolate chips, chopped apples, nuts, all make a nice addition. Be as creative as you like!! Comment below with any questions! Thanks!
